1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using JustGrind ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JustGrind provides AI-powered interview practice for software engineers, including:

• Mock technical interviews with AI feedback
• Speech analysis and performance tracking
• CV parsing and personalized questions
• Meeting recording analysis (optional)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Be at least 16 years old
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept our Privacy Policy

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• All activity under your account
• Maintaining confidentiality of credentials
• Notifying us of unauthorized access

4. Credits and Payments

4.1 Credit System

Interviews are billed in credits (1 credit = 1 minute of interview time).

4.2 Purchases

• All credit purchases are final and non-refundable
• Credits do not expire
• Payment processed via Lemon Squeezy (PCI DSS compliant)

4.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are only provided in exceptional circumstances (service outage, billing errors). Contact son@justgrind.dev for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

• Share accounts with others
• Abuse or overload our systems
• Reverse engineer our AI models
• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious content (malware, viruses)

5.2 Consequences

Violations may result in:

• Account suspension or termination
• Loss of credits without refund
• Legal action if applicable

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All interview questions, AI models, UI design, and branding are owned by JustGrind. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of your CV, interview responses, and uploaded content. By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

• Process your content with AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cartesia)
• Store your data in our database (Convex)
• Analyze aggregated, anonymized data to improve the service

7. Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points:

• Your data is processed by third-party AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cartesia)
• You can delete your account anytime (30-day grace period)
• Email marketing is optional (opt-in only)

8. Service Availability

8.1 No Uptime Guarantee

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur for:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Third-party service outages (Convex, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Technical issues beyond our control

8.2 Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 No Employment Guarantee

JustGrind is a practice tool. We do not guarantee:

• Job offers or interview success
• Accuracy of AI feedback
• Suitability for specific roles or companies

9.2 "AS IS" Service

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustGrind shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost profits or data
• Service interruptions
• Third-party actions (e.g., AI service errors)

Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months (maximum $100 USD).

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You can delete your account anytime via settings. Credits are forfeited upon deletion.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the service

12. Governing Law
